Are you interested in contributing to the security and trustworthiness of the Vigilance DAO ecosystem? As a Validator, you play a crucial role in validating reported domains and helping to protect our community members from scams and fraudulent activities. Follow these steps to become a Validator:

Step 1

Join our Discord Community First and foremost, join our Discord community and let us know that you are interested in becoming a Validator. Our Discord server is the central hub for discussions, announcements, and collaboration within Vigilance DAO.

Step 2

Request to Become a Validator To be eligible as a Validator, you will need to create a transaction of $100 and submit a request to become a Validator. This transaction serves as a commitment to the DAO and helps to ensure the seriousness and dedication of Validators.

Step 3

Approval by Governance For your request to become a Validator, it must receive acceptance from at least 51% of the governance members. The governance members are responsible for reviewing and approving new Validators based on their qualifications and commitment to the community.

Step 4

Rejection and Stake Distribution In the event that the governance members reject your request, your stake of $90 will be returned to you, while $10 will be allocated to the treasury of Vigilance DAO. It's important to note that the rejection does not imply any wrongdoing on your part; it simply means that the community decided to proceed with other candidates. To avoid losing 10% of stake, ensure you join our discord community and talk with current governance members about your interest. This will ensure higher chances of acceptance.

Step 5

Acceptance and Validation Privileges Once your request is accepted, congratulations! You have now gained the privilege to validate reported domains within Vigilance DAO. This means you will have the authority to review and make determinations on the legitimacy of reported domains based on the evidence and information provided.

Step 6

Governance Votes on Validations Throughout your tenure as a Validator, the governance members will have the power to vote on the validity of your validations. In the event that a governance vote determines your validation as invalid, 100% of your stake will be slashed. This emphasizes the importance of careful and accurate validation decisions.

As a Validator, your role is integral to the functioning of Vigilance DAO. By upholding high standards of accuracy and vigilance, you contribute to maintaining the security and trust of our community.
